Looking for positive and mature woman (client is 70yr female) who is dependable, detail oriented, and has initiative to self-start tasks while caring for needs of client. Enjoys a good laugh and is intuitive to other’s feelings.

Available shifts:

Monday- Friday nights 8pm- midnight

On-call, days and evenings

Our small team is hiring! We currently have evening shifts open through the week. Our ideal candidate would have a flexible schedule and be willing to help pick up evening or day shifts for other staff when necessary. We all work together to provide the best daily care for our lovely client, which requires everyone to lend a helping hand sometimes. Day shift is 10:00am-3:00pm, Evening shift is 8pm-midnight. Located in Bethany, Beaverton. Must be able to commute reliably, and promptly.

Middle aged female client has ALS and is wheelchair bound. Client is mostly self-sufficient and independent; needs assistance with daily ADLs, and meal prep. Assistance needed for showers and personal grooming. G-tube experience not required, but a plus.

We staff a team of 4 fantastic employees that allows us to provide care for her when she needs it most. We work together as a team to give our client the best of care! We're looking for someone who can aid in helping to create a fun and nurturing environment, while making life a little bit easier and more enjoyable for her as she works through this unexpected chapter of her life. Our care team is treated like an extension of our family and we hope to welcome new members to our team for the long haul. We are looking for the right person to bring into our little circle. The most important factor in finding the right employee for us is that your personality and experience fit the needs of our client and team. We are looking for the right candidate to join our client’s support system; she is a special person with an amazing spirit! She enjoys sewing, quilting, pottery, and enjoying time out in the sun in her flower garden, trips to the movie theater, big laughs, and spending time with friends and family.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: We're looking to hire a caregiver that can fulfill the shift requirements, and perform the duties and responsibilities listed below. They agree to perform the following duties as a requirement of their employment:

Bathing/dressing, Meal preparation/cooking, Light housekeeping/laundry, Crafts and sewing projects, Mobility assistance/transfers, Companionship, Transportation, Shopping/errands, Activities and physical therapy stretches, Hands on care/grooming, Medical equipment cleaning and maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

-Must be patient and friendly and local to Hillsboro/Beaverton area

-Must be 18 years or olderMust have flexible schedule

-Must be able to lift 40lbs+

-Ability to pass a drug and background check

-Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, no exceptions

-Ability to communicate effectively with family and other staff in a friendly and congenial manner.

-Can maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment.

-Ability to work independently and has great initiative

-Very caring, passionate, and dependable person, who is people oriented.

-Must be able to handle and address emergency situations appropriately.
