Hiring now - Warehouse Assistant and Forklift Operator - Part Time - to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years' experience in warehouse operations and safe forklift operation. Experience in high-value product moving and storage is a huge plus. Forklift refresher training and certification provided upon hire.
This is a part-time position, 20-25 hours per week. Depending on need, the position could expand to full time.
Job Responsibilities: What You'll Do
Operate forklift and other material handling to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Check in shipments and note exceptions.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs to the warehouse supervisor.
Engage in heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Exercise constant attention to safety standards and procedures.
Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Job Requirements: What You Bring
Previous experience in a high-value product warehouse setting is desired, with a strong understanding of industry processes.
Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team, while also being self-motivated.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to maintain regular and on time attendance and have reliable transportation to work.
REAL ID may be required at time of hire.
