Powell's Books is seeking to hire an Assistant Manager at our Beaverton location.
The Assistant Manager works independently and as a part of the management team to oversee retail floor operations. Responsibilities include providing for an exceptional in-store customer experience, managing staff on the retail floor, and coordinating work flow and staffing between different parts of the store.
This position will have a Sales Floor portfolio, responsible for overseeing the functions that support in-section maintenance and control, visual merchandising in aisles and customer service goals of the company.
The schedule for the position will be:
Mon - 1-9
Tue - 1-9
Wed - 1-9
Thu - 11-7
Fri - off
Sat - off
Sun - 1-9
Shifts will be regular and consistent.
Compensation is $21.48 per hour, or more, depending on experience.
