Aerometal International, a well-established Historic Aircraft Restoration business, seeks a motivated, resourceful, and experienced Purchasing manager to join our inventory department.
Applicant must be capable of high levels of multi-tasking. Must also possess exceptional organization skills, be computer savvy, and have the ability to lead a small team of 2 people.
Successful applicants will enjoy a fast-paced work environment with regular interactions with staff, management, customers, and vendors alike. Experience with QuickBooks (QBO), Excel, Word and Outlook Email is important. An ability to learn new software programs quickly is an advantage. Problem Solvers and Innovators are highly valued. Anticipate additional position responsibilities in the fields of crating, packing, shipping and receiving.
Primary responsibility will be the seamless supply of our production floor with parts and materials. Additional responsibilities will include arranging shipping/freight (both inbound and outbound) and the provisioning of our facilities. Willingness to work proactively within our administrative and project management teams is essential.
Aviation experience is clearly a bonus but not essential.
This position requires the applicant to work on-site at our Aurora, Oregon base.
Full-Time Employment, 40 hours per week.
$25 - $38 / hour depending on experience.
