Local Company Seeking Full-Time Employees with TIG Welding Experience
We are a small, family-owned business based in Portland, OR, specializing in the fabrication of custom steel work. Our primary projects include interior and exterior steel railings, fencing, balconies, and gates. Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Maintain quality standards and inspect finished parts for defects.
Ensure a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to all policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
Self-motivated and capable of producing quality welds efficiently.
Work Environment:
Primarily indoor work
Safety gear, including safety glasses and leather boots, must be worn at all times.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and reach throughout the work shift.
Occasional climbing of ladders or stairs.
Minimal English Required.
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $25 and up per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
