General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Provides direct and indirect resident care under the direction of an RN or LPN. Assists residents with activities of daily living, personal care, comfort and in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of residents.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
Paper charting at Care Center
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Graduate of a Nursing Assistant training program; 1 year experience as CNA in a long-term care facility
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
Certification in State of Oregon; BLS
Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)

Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
Rare occurrence, but if so, to Support Services (laundry/housekeeping)
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
40 - census runs around 15-25
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)
Nurse to patient ratio is 1:7 on days, 1:9.5 on evenings and 1:17 on nights
Dress Code:
Scrubs of any color/pattern choice as long as tasteful and in good, clean condition. Close-toed, non-slip shoes. Hair pulled back, proper hygiene and grooming (men's beards trimmed, hair pulled back and neat)
