The full Pay Range is $25.77-$47.93 hourly. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Additional details regarding BECU Benefits can be found here .IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:As a Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Analyst, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding BECU from fraudulent or suspicious activity. You'll support BSA/AML leadership in ensuring compliance with BECU’s BSA Program by performing and reviewing tasks related to Currency Transaction Reporting, OFAC and Watchlist screening, and internal referral triaging. Your keen analytical skills and proactive approach will help interpret business issues, recommend best practices, and contribute to the safety and integrity of our financial operations.WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Ensure Compliance: Perform all responsibilities in accordance with BECU Competencies, compliance, regulatory, and Information Protection requirements.

File Reports: Submit Currency Transaction Reports as per regulatory requirements.

Investigate Hits: Respond to and investigate potential matches on the OFAC (SDN) and 314a watchlist.

Analyze Suspicious Activity Referrals: Triage suspicious activity referrals from various sources and take appropriate action.

Provide Guidance: Assist business units in understanding their BSA compliance roles and responsibilities.

Recommend Improvements: Suggest and help implement processes and controls to ensure AML compliance.

Monitor Member Behavior: Inform BSA/AML Investigations teams of changes in member behavior that may indicate money laundering or terrorist financing.

Special Projects: Complete special projects as assigned by BSA/AML leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work or educational experience.

Minimum three years of experience in BSA/AML, bank audit, compliance, or banking operations.

Desired Qualifications:

At least one year of experience in Currency Transaction Report filing and Quality Assurance.

At least one year of experience in Financial Crimes triage and/or investigation.

Demonstrated understanding of BSA/AML/OFAC related regulations and practical application.
