Maintenance Technicians and Foremen play a vital leadership role in delivering top-quality service, ensuring safety, and adhering to Pfeifer’s standards on every project. They prioritize efficiency, exceptional customer service, and effective communication while developing technical expertise specific to their tier.
This position has the following job requirements
Work with the maintenance superintendent and other maintenance technicians to diagnose and repair roof-related leaks and maintenance.
o Replace pipe flashing, roof vents, shingles, and fascia.
Ability to work safely and capably on all roof systems.
o Abide by all safety requirements, including PPE, fall protection and others.
o Install roof and chimney/skylight flashings, patch flat roofs, replace valleys and install sun tunnels.
o Apply basic painting, caulking, and siding skills.
o Repair tile roofs.
o Complete documentation required to log and bill jobs.
Deliver excellent quality and customer satisfaction.
o Perform work according to Pfeifer Roofing standards.
o As a representative of the company, exhibit professional and courteous behavior when interacting with members of the public.
Education and Experience
One to Five years of Roofing Production or Service/Maintenance Roofing Experience
Valid driver’s license and insurable record under company auto liability
Bilingual preferred - English/Spanish
OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour card preferred
Ability to work 8- to 12- hour shifts, weekdays, and weekends
Specialized training, such as, safety, manufacturer system training, specific equipment, DOT compliance etc.
