Fitter/Welder Assembly

Must be able to work safely in a production environment.Assemble all phases of power unit construction using a bill of material, arrangement drawing and schematic. (Use of hand tools such as tape measure, pneumatic tools and metal cutting equipment required.)Fit and weld pipe joints and structural assemblies per established welding codes using various welding processes such as GTAW, GMAW, SMAW and FCAW.Work independently with minimal supervision according to standard shop guidelines.Maintain a clean work area.Will work in an industrial environment in and around large machinery. Proper safety equipment is provided and must be worn at all times.Overtime may be requested.Perform other essential and related peripheral duties as may be assigned.
