Description We are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst based in Easton, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing detailed and organized technical support to our users, ensuring the smooth operation of our Windows-based systems. This is a contract position and requires full on-site presence. Responsibilities: Provide accurate deskside support to ensure seamless functionality of Windows-based systems. Identify, diagnose, and resolve desktop issues to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. Utilize Microsoft Active Directory for user account management. Configure and manage computer hardware to ensure optimal performance. Deliver high-quality customer service, addressing user inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Conduct break/fix tasks to rectify hardware and software issues. Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement solutions for recurring issues. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging tools and technologies in desktop support. Manage the setup of new user desktops and the decommissioning of old ones. Contribute to IT-related projects and initiatives as required.Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Comprehensive understanding of Active Directory and its functionality Hands-on experience with computer hardware, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair Knowledge of configuration management tools and principles Experience providing deskside support to users in a professional environment Ability to diagnose and repair common IT issues (Break Fix) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for providing clear instructions to users Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues Willingness to continue learning and improving technical skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Professional certification in IT or related field would be advantageous Experience in a similar role providing desktop support to users.
