The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Public Health Sciences, in Hershey, PA, is seeking a full-time Human Research Technologist - Health and Medicine - Intermediate Professional to work with the Advancing Community Health Through Implementation Science (ACTION) Team under the direction of William Calo, PhD, JD. The position will work on investigator-led studies focusing on cancer prevention through HPV vaccination and other health topics with a focus on implementation science. The HRT will work on multiple aspects of research studies, including, but not limited to, protocol development and compliance, participant recruitment, scheduling, data collection and management, data analyses, and dissemination of study findings.Applicants should possess very strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative environment. Experience with data analysis using statistical software, the IRB, Microsoft Office, and REDCap is preferred. The person recruited for this position will receive training in implementation science and other research methodologies.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Schedule, coordinate, and conduct web-based and in-person events and research site visits

Serve as a liaison to internal departments/research units and external organizations

Coordinate project communications with researchers, study staff, and community partners

Develop materials and protocols for research projects

Support program evaluation, including data collection, database set-up, data entry, and analyses

Assist with project reporting and dissemination of findings

Support community partners through technical assistance about the implementation and evaluation of evidence-based programsMinimum Education & ExperienceAssociate's degree, 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceThis is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire, withpossibility of refunding.The following clearances must be successfully completed for this position:
