Höganäs in North America is seeking an Network Administrator for its production facility located in Hollsopple, PA.About the positionThis position is responsible for the development, installation, upgrading and maintenance of the organization's wired and wireless network infrastructure, as well as, serving as a technical advisor/project manager for complex network communication and configuration issues.Other duties include but are not limited to:
Fully supporting, maintaining, and upgrading network equipment (switches, routers, and firewalls).
Monitors data communication across the network to ensure maximum WAN uptime.
Administers and maintains physical security systems (door access, cameras, emergency communication and visitor management).
Works closely with outside IT consultants and Global IT operations when needed.
Serves as backup to Global Systems Administrator.
Designs and administers support for audio and visual equipment, plant communication displays, software, and hardware.
Your profileQualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field with a minimum of five years' work experience in Information Technology. Excellent knowledge of Cisco routing and switching is preferred. Knowledge of IT security systems and firewalls (ASA and Fortigate), along with LAN and WAN principles is also preferred.
