Staff Accountant

Description This is a full time, hybrid, temporary opportunity that could lead to a permanent position and is located near Jenkintown, PA. The working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.A well established organization is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing bank reconciliations and assisting with month end, as well as working with general ledger accounting. The ideal candidate will have a 1+ year of experience as a staff accountant, experience with ERP financial software (this company uses Great Plains, Dynamics), and comfortable performing bank reconciliations.Responsibilities: Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy Assist with month-end procedures and ensure timely completion Manage general ledger accounting and maintain accuracy Work with ERP financial software for various accounting tasks Allocate pre-paid expenses and ensure they are accurately recorded Handle accruals to reflect the company's financial status accurately Manage and distribute mail and prints within the department Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present data effectively.Requirements Requirements: University Degree (or equivalent experience in lieu of) Excel 1+ years in a staff accountant position.
