Activities Assistant

Provides specific therapeutic programs to include recreational and social activities that meet the needs, interests, and capabilities of program participants.Implements recreational therapy for program participants and ensures that participants have the opportunity to be engaged in programming that meet their needs.Records, signs, and dates progress reports in the participant’s medical record as applicable. Attends and actively participates in committees as assigned. Encourages program participants to partake in self-directed and group activities.
