Job Title: Press/Shear OperatorBUS ROUTE OPPORTUNITYMUST HAVE PAST PRESS OPERATING EXPERIENCEJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Press and Shear Operator, working the 1st shift from 6am to 4:30am, Monday through Thursday. This role involves setting up and operating metal fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, saws, and presses, ironworker, and high-definition plasma cutter to cut, bend, straighten, and form metal plates, sheets, and structural shapes. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup and production methods. You will select, position, and secure dies, blades, cutters, and fixtures onto machines, adjust controls to regulate machining factors, and ensure conformance to engineering specifications. Additionally, you will assist with routine maintenance, cleaning in the Press & Shear department, and training of new employees as needed.Hard Skills

Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a large weld, paint, and fabrication shop that manufactures customized trailers for large industrial clients. The environment is team-oriented and features a very high-tech, automated paint system.
