JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Network Development Specialist is a critical member of the enterprise's Network Development team with responsibility for developing strong, stable provider networks nationwide and facilitating key recruitment related activities. This position will cultivate new and existing relationships with providers and their staff, Dental Service Organizations (DSOs), and internal business partners across the enterprise.This person should live in the northeast, possibly in these states: MD, PA, NY, VA, OH, DE.RESPONSIBILITIESBuilds partnerships between providers and the company, with the concerted effort to build strong, stable provider networks.

Manages all recruitment projects and resources for your assigned territory.

Plans and executes daily recruitment schedule and approach.

Potentially evaluates and determines cost effectiveness of contracting specific providers.

Effectively interfaces with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.QUALIFICATIONS2+ w/Bachelor's degree

Ability to demonstrate strong sales and negotiation skills.

PC literacy required; MS Office skills.

Ability to maintain consistent, regular attendance.

Ability to work in a secure remote environment.

Ability to travel, including overnight stays; airplane travel required.

Strong planning and organizational skills including time management, collaboration, and network and competitor analysis

A strong commitment to excellent customer service as demonstrated by consistently meeting deadlines and effective relationship building.

Utilizes strong verbal and written communication, networking, negotiating, problem solving and conflict management skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain sufficient credit to manage related job expenses including, but not limited to, applying to and being approved by a third party charge card agency.

Strong consultative, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback and/or industry related feedback.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately share information with discretion.

Ability to operate in an environment of rapidly changing priorities.

Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects, a demanding workload, and tight timelines.

Detail oriented, flexible and creative.

Knowledge of Current Dental Terminology ("CDT") codes and dental nomenclature.

Licenses

DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State. Must have a valid driver's license and ability to maintain an acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle record and purchase and maintain $250,000/$500,000 collision damage liability insurance policy. Upon Hire Req'

Base Pay InformationThe national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications.
