Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse is seeking a visionary and analytical Director of Finance to join our dynamic Accounting team. S/He will be a key member of our executive leadership, and will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, developing strategic financial plans, and ensuring the long-term financial health of the hotel.
Key responsibilities will include:Leading the development and implementation of the organization's financial strategyOversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and treasury managementProvide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organizationAnalyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely mannerManage the annual budgeting and planning processDevelop and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their financial needs and seek full range of business solutionsEnsure compliance with Internal and external Audit, financial regulations and standardsOptimize the handling of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positionDevelop and implement financial controls and risk management procedures Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounting team, fostering an inclusive high performing team culture of collaboration and excellence
