Description We are in search of a Software Engineer to join our team located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. This role expects the individual to perform engineering design evaluations, recommend alterations to improve the quality of products and/or procedures, and troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix production software issues. Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement, and analyze technical products and systems Perform engineering design evaluations and develop a range of products Recommend alterations to development and design to improve the quality of products and/or procedures Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix production software issues Develop standards and procedures for measuring product quality and release readiness Utilize a variety of open source technologies and tools Manage data with an emphasis on automation tools Build strong relationships with QA and Software Engineers in an operational capacity to maintain continuous delivery of critical systems Proactively manage applications in both virtual and cloud infrastructures Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for container experience. Requirements Proficiency in software engineering and IT operations Strong understanding of quality assurance practices Experience in design and production of software systems Ability to supervise teams and manage projects Capable of troubleshooting and implementing solutions to software issues Knowledge of automation processes and tools Familiarity with cloud technologies and monitoring tools Coding skills, preferably with experience in GitHub Experience in managing software deployments Knowledge of AWS technologies and data management Experience with automation testing Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, Docker Understanding of continuous integration practices.
