Job Title: Multi Craft Journeyman - WEEKLY PAYJob DescriptionA Multi Craft Journeyman (welder/fitter/mechanic) is a highly skilled tradesperson proficient in multiple disciplines within the skilled trades. This role involves a diverse set of skills and expertise, enabling the specialist to perform various tasks across different crafts.Responsibilities

Focus on safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

Read and understand drawings, blueprints, and P&ID’s.

Position, align, and secure parts & assemblies according to specifications using various measuring tools.

Perform welding using GMAW, SMAW, and GTAW welding processes.

Familiarity with butt & socket weld for carbon steel & stainless-steel pipe/tube, threaded carbon steel & stainless-steel pipe, PVC/CPVC, and copper solder.

Proficient in Pro & Mega Press Mechanical Piping.

Operate hand and power tools such as magnetic drills, grinders, cutting torches, and automated welding tractors.

Inspect equipment prior to use to maintain quality & functionality; report any equipment malfunctions.

Work with others to assist with the execution of work in a professional manner.

Inspect own work for compliance with contract plans and specifications, point out deficiencies, and take corrective action as needed.

Ability to travel to multiple locations in the field, including multiple states (Delaware, New Jersey, PA, and Maryland).

Willingness to work overtime and alternative shifts and be available on an emergency basis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Degree (or equivalent) and related Trade School

5+ years experience in the fabrication/welding industry

Experience in GMAW, SMAW, and GTAW, and qualification to D1.1 structural command and to weld pipe in 6-G position per AWS using the GTAW process in carbon and stainless steel. Proven past welding certification history is a plus.

Proficient in welding symbols, work package diagrams, blueprints, and other printed instructional material.

Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.

Proficiency in cutting material by means of cutting torch, plasma torch, Port-a-band saw, and other related tools.

Ability to work in a team environment and self-motivation.

OSHA /10 safety training required, provided by the company. Having an up-to-date OSHA/10 or greater is a plus.

Valid driver’s license and own transportation required for travel in the tri-state area.

Ability to pass , motor vehicle check, drug screening, and respirator fitness test.
