ABOUT APMAsociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha (APM) has been helping families achieve their greatest potential since 1970 by providing early childhood education, foster care & adoption, child welfare, mental & behavioral health, community and economic development, housing, community school services, and violence intervention services to the North Philadelphia communities.Salary:$50,000 per yearJob Type:Full Time, ExemptWork Schedule:Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pmLocation:Philadelphia, PA (On Site)JOB SUMMARYThe Drug and Alcohol Program Supervisor's primary responsibilities will be the following: Provide clinical oversight for the designated Drug and Alcohol Program team under the direction of the Program Director. Provide individual and group clinical supervision in accordance with and/or the regulatory standards and guidelines of CBH, DDAP and OMHSAS to both licensed and unlicensed Substance abuse counselors in various environments and modalities. The emphasis of the Drug and Alcohol Program is multi-faceted and includes meeting clinical benchmarks for quality care and productivity, ensuring proper care is being provided in accordance with service delivery contracts and providing ongoing staff development. Duties may include establishing of clinical practice policy, case consultation, creating and reviewing clinical documentation and facilitating in-service training, oversight and management of Drug and Alcohol Program services. Collaboration with other departments is a vital component of Drug and Alcohol Program Supervisor's role. The position can also include direct service by way of individual, family and group therapy to APM clients. Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervision

a. Provide minimum one-hour individual supervision for SAC (substance abuse counselor) a month

b. Provide minimum one-hour group supervision a month to SACs

c. Both must be documented within 48 hours of providing supervision

d. Conduct case consultation conferences with doctor and SACs and timely document the details on EHR

e. Implementation of the policies and procedures for the operation of Drug and alcohol outpatient services in compliance with all Federal, State, County, and Funder requirements

Case load

a. Provide therapeutic services to a caseload using a variety of therapeutic modalities

b. Manage the SACs team and assign new clients

c. Apply for BHSI for clients who doesn't have insurance

Case load review every month for all SACs in the team

a. Discharges are completed upon 60 days of not receiving counseling services

b. Labs up to date for all clients (weekly/ bi-weekly)

c. Treatment plans must be developed based on ASAM criteria

d. Releases and other relevant documentations are up to date

e. SACs have sufficient caseload

f. All therapists providing minimum 3 sessions a month to a client or based on ASAM criteria

g. Counselors are spending 70% of their work time at office

h. Encouraging in-person services

i. All services requiring client signatures must be in person (exceptional case must be documented and discussed with supervisor)

j. Enter diagnosis in Credible during the Intake session

k. All services fully documented (signatures) within 7 days and must be ready for billing

Training

a. Get list of all mandated trainings from Admin Director

b. Follow up on training every month with SACs during the supervisions

c. All SACs and supervisor must complete the required trainings before the annual performance evaluations

d. Make sure SACs complete 25 hours of training a calendar year apart from the mandatory trainings

e. Make appropriate training recommendations for the SACs

f. Supervisor completes Performance evaluation and Individual training plans or all SACs before the end of the year

g. Supervisor will train SACs in all documentations used at APM

Billing

a. Supervisor must collect the billing cycle schedule from Billing Supervisor

b. Ensure all SACs sends billing sheet within 72 hours of providing service

c. Ensure all SACs sends Timesheet before the billing closing date and time

Documentation

a. Supervisor must review all Treatment plans, evaluations, Intakes, family/ couple/ group therapy and approve for billing

b. Supervisor must review progress notes randomly to ensure they are in compliance with treatment plan goals and charts are in good standing

c. Complete case consultations with SACs and Dr (when needed) and document in Credible within 48 hours

d. Complete incident reports for CBH and APM and send the documentation to Director of Operations

Supervision/ meetings with Directors

a. Must be available for meetings with Directors once a week for 1-2 hours and as needed.

b. Must submit a weekly report of your team during the meeting
