Position Overview
The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to our recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, efficient, and organized station. The ideal candidate has strong kitchen experience, excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and plate menu items during service with consistency and accuracy
Set up, stock, and maintain station before, during, and after shifts
Follow all recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications
Assist with prep work as needed (chopping, marinating, portioning, etc.)
Ensure kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards
Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow team members
Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude during busy service periods
Monitor food quality and freshness; report issues to leadership
Qualifications
2+ years line cook or equivalent kitchen experience required
Strong understanding of kitchen equipment, knife skills, and cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Food Handler’s Certificate (or ability to obtain)
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
