Uride Transit is looking for drivers (THIS IS NOT A CDL Position) in the Philadelphia city limits and the northern suburbs, such as Maple Glen and Plymouth Meeting. Like Uber, you will use your car to transport students! We offer consistent and safe trips during the school year, and your main responsibility is transporting students to and from school. Our work days are very short, usually 2-3 hours, with morning trips starting around 7-8 am and afternoon trips around 2-3 pm.
We are currently offering two different types of routes.
1. Trips in the Philadelphia city limits pay $40 per trip +$1 per mile after 10 miles; however, they require you to have a high-capacity vehicle (at least three rows), and they need a monitor. We highly recommend bringing someone to be your monitor, which pays $30 per trip. They can be anyone at least 21 with a valid state-issued ID. The monitor's job is to sit in the car and ensure students behave.
2. Trips in the surrounding suburbs pay $35 per trip + $1 per mile after 10 miles. Some school districts include:

North Penn
Norristown
Lower Moreland

Car no older than 10 years

Insurance covered on your vehicle when driving your routes (school ⇆ home)
Once approved, we offer a $200 bonus after working 40 trips with us!
