Description Robert Half is partnering with a large banking organization in the Downtown Pittsburgh area to fill an Accounts Payable position. This is a long-term temporary opportunity expected to continue until mid-2025. The role offers a hybrid work environment, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home each week. This position provides an excellent chance to make a daily impact alongside a fantastic team!Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a backup for processing invoices and managing travel and expense accounts.

Receive all invoices coming into the Bank, distribute them to the appropriate personnel for approvals, and ensure timely payments.

Verify authorizations, general ledger information, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with accounts payable policies and procedures.

Process and maintain all reimbursement requests for the Bank’s commuting program.

Process all Bank travel expense reports, ensuring accuracy, proper authorization, and compliance with the Bank’s travel policy. Identify potential issues and resolve them when appropriate, escalating other issues to the supervisor as necessary.

Maintain the outstanding check invoice folder and send out weekly inquiries to relevant individuals to obtain approval status for outstanding invoices.
