CertainTeed Siding STONE fa-ade is looking for a collaborative, talented, and energetic Quality & Process Control Manager to join our growing team. Our Quality & Process Control Manager will be accountable to ensure that the Quality Management System (QMS) is implemented per requirements and to report areas of opportunities and concern to Management. This candidate will also be leading the effort to reduce waste via process implementation and improvements, training programs, documentation and manufacturing planning following the WCM methodology. The incumbent will be expected to ensure the plant remains in full compliance with regulatory and ISO requirements as they pertain to the plant, customer specifications, and corporate quality policies. This role will be part of our leadership team at the manufacturing site and expected to be an integral part of the general decision-making process aimed at the growth of the business. The candidate is expected to be pro-active, data-driven, and pragmatic in its implementation of solutions and testing of new solutions when interacting with all other functional leads at the plant.Essential Functions:Implementation and oversight of a Quality Management System that operates in compliance with corporate quality policies and procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements and industry guidance, including:

Implementation of document control and review/approval of controlled documents

Implementation of change management and review of all change controls

Implementation of supplier quality management and performance of supplier audits as appropriate

Robust root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions management

Management of internal/external (regulatory, customer, supply chain) audit requirements

Ensure adequate Training Program is in place and documented

Implementation/oversight of material and product testing and review/approval of QC testing

Implementation of Quality Risk Management in relevant aspects of the QMS

Implementation of Skill Matrix in partnership with Manufacturing and Human Resource

Responsible for ensuring high quality integrity of all products/process. Ensure robust root cause analysis Investigation and corrective/preventive action plan for deviations and nonconforming product. Develop both strategic and tactical plans for quality culture development. Manage process implementations and improvements using WCM methodologies including:

Process specification and process control to ensure product quality

Process and product traceability

Raw material and finished goods quality management

Internal process audits to ensure quality control compliance

Training and certification of associates to close gaps and sustain Skill Matrix.

Manage COPQ reduction projects

Plant 1st pass yield

Customer Management, including:

Facilitate/host customer audits as the management representative.

Ensure robust and effective corrective action to customer audit observations.

Review/approve Quality Agreements with customers

Partner in the resolution of Quality Issues and requests for information by initiating effective interdepartmental communication.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operators or Equivalent (Required)

Certification

Green Belt (Preferred)

Work Experience

5-8 Years as a part of a quality organization in highly regulated industry (Required)

3-5 Years experience in batching and wet casting cement/ concrete (Preferred)

3-5 Years managing, growing, and developing direct reports (Required)

Practical Knowledge

Strong knowledge of quality standards of ISO9001 (Required)

Experience performing risk analysis (Preferred)

Cement/ concrete knowledge (Preferred)

Demonstrated understanding of LEAN manufacturing concepts (Preferred)

Strong project management skills (Preferred)
