Paint Prep Associate
Pay: $17.00-$18.00/hr DOE

Shift: 1st Shift Monday through Thursday (6am-3:30pm) Friday (6am-10:30am)
Location: Boyertown, PA
Responsibilities:
Sand wooden doors and components to remove rough surfaces, defects, and old coatings.
Mask, tape, and cover areas to protect from paint, stain, or overspray.
Frame and stage doors for painting or staining, ensuring proper alignment and handling.
Inspect doors for dents, cracks, or imperfections before finishing.
Clean and prep surfaces using air blowers, tack cloths, and other tools.
Move doors safely to and from the prep area, paint booth, and drying racks.
Assist with basic touch-ups and finish checks when needed.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety and handling procedures.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Previous experience in sanding, masking, or general surface prep preferred (will train motivated candidates).
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify surface flaws.
Comfortable working with hand tools, sanders, and masking materials.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
