The Department of Human Services, Bureau of Child Support Enforcement is seeking a self-motivated Child Support Enforcement Specialist to join our dedicated team of professionals. DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Child Support Enforcement Specialist for the Department of Human Services, you will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and ensuring the overall effectiveness of the Child Support Enforcement Program. In this role, you will collaborate with other agencies to coordinate case activity, mediate disputes, foster program compliance, optimize collections, and promote self-sufficiency for families. In addition, you will prepare contract recommendations, ensure proper distribution of child support payments, and conduct individual case audits. Interested in learning more? Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to work from home (telework), you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the department office within the listed counties that is closest to your residence.
This position will be home headquartered after successful completion of a probationary period.
Travel is required to Cameron, Elk, Forest, McKean, Potter, and Warren counties.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Four years of experience in a domestic relations office which included the interpretation, application and explanation of policies and regulations and analysis of information; or
A bachelor’s degree; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training including one year in a domestic relations office which included the interpretation, application and explanation of policies and regulations and analysis of information.
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
