We are searching for a Licensed Psychologist to join the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Albion psychology department. The psychologist has a crucial role in ensuring the mental well-being of incarcerated individuals and in contributing to their rehabilitation process. DESCRIPTION OF WORKIt is crucial in this position to take a collaborative approach to ensure the emotional and psychological well-being of those under our care. As a Licensed Psychologist at SCI Albion, you will be a valued team member and will work closely with staff to develop comprehensive, personalized care plans for inmates. Your responsibilities will involve providing information, evaluating, monitoring, and offering support to severely mentally ill inmates. Additionally, your duties include conducting individual and group psychotherapy, as well as screening inmates for psychiatric and other mental health services. You will perform various diagnostic techniques to assess an individual's intellectual functioning, personality structure, interests, aptitudes, and psychological factors. Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Special Requirements:

All employees must possess a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.

All employees in the Department of Corrections must obtain Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certification within two months of hire and maintain it for the duration of employment in the job.

Other Requirements:

Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
