THE POSITIONIf you are an experienced, energetic sales professional interested in serving a specific sales territory within theWestmoreland County area, the Pennsylvania Lottery is looking for you!As a Lottery Sales Representative, you will provide product, guidance, and support to existing retailers while actively working with them to increase their sales. You will also use your sales skills to recruit new retailers, educate them on the benefits of joining our retailer network, and provide strategies that will help them succeed. DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Lottery Sales Representative, you will be required to navigate a web based portal and be PC and iPad proficient, read and interpret sales data, communicate effectively with business owners and customers the value of Lottery products, and detailed information about procedures and the products. You will also have the opportunity to interact and engage players at retailer events, network with other sales representatives at retailer events, and when necessary while conducting normal business, lift/carry up to 40 lbs., work overtime on a limited basis, and work or drive in all types of weather conditions.This position is home headquartered, however you would be expected to report to the assigned area office on a weekly basis. There will be at least once per month where the work hours will change to 11:30 am to 7:30 pm for one week to maintain operational efficiency and maximize service to the Lottery and the public.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.

Work hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Four years of experience in progressively responsible sales or marketing work;or

Any equivalent experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

You must possess a valid PA driver's license.

You must abide by the prohibition guidelines and refrain from gambling in Pennsylvania casinos, or any casino outside of Pennsylvania with the same owners.

You must reside in one of the following zip codes withinWestmorelandCounty: 15601, 15619, 15662, 15620, 15624, 15627, 15671, 15650, 15695, 15693, 15638, 15670, 15672, 15676, 15696, 15697. Relocation is not an option.

You must possess four or more years of sales experience.

You must possess four or more years of customer service experience in a sales environment.

You must be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.

You must be available to work the required work schedule of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM including at least once per month where the work hours will change to 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM for one week.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
