Come join our expert bridge maintenance team in the Cumberland County Maintenance area, where you will be responsible for skilled trade responsibilities such as constructing concrete forms, pouring and finishing concrete, and carrying out stone-masonry tasks. DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis position involves measuring, cutting, fitting, and erecting concrete forms, building wooden structure walls and partitions, and similar carpentry duties. Work includes mixing concrete for use on site or directing placement of ready mixed concrete, ensuring proper finishing and curing of concrete structures and cutting and fitting, grouting and pointing of stone structures as required. In the absence of the foreman, the incumbent may perform acting or lead work functions for crew members.The Maintenance Repairman 2 may be licensed, trained, and certified to operate a variety of construction equipment including trucks over 32,000 GVW, loaders, backhoes and excavators incidental to the assigned bridge maintenance project or as a back-up operator for emergency response to snow and ice, storm and vehicle accidents. Performing safety checks on equipment and manual labor will be included in your duties.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment.
Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirement:
Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1;or
Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades;or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirements:
This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
Additional Requirements:
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
