Tax Preparer

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer to join a company in Wayne, Pennsylvania. This role is based in the financial services industry and will require the candidate to prepare tax returns, manage financial data, and utilize QuickBooks software for various tasks.Responsibilities: Prepare and process individual and corporate tax returns Handle quarterly payroll returns and maintain accurate records Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to tax preparation Use QuickBooks to manage financial data and perform various accounting tasks Perform routine office tasks such as answering phones and scanning documents Ensure compliance with financial regulations and stay updated on current tax laws Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines during tax season Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling client's financial information Provide guidance to clients on tax-related issues Assist in other tax preparation related tasks as neededRequirements Possession of a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of one year of experience in a tax preparer role or similar Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software Solid understanding of tax laws and regulations Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines Superior interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members Certified Tax Preparer (CTP) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials would be advantageous Ability to work independently and as part of a team.If you have the right skills for this role and are available immediately, we want to hear from you contact us at (484)254.9040 in reference to JO# 03710-0013052193.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
