Description We are seeking a Document Controller for our client located in Charleston, Tennessee. This role is part of a dynamic team that manages and organizes critical documents across various locations, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and security while adhering to industry standards and best practices. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee the creation, revision, and distribution of documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Develop and maintain document control procedures and workflows to streamline processes and enhance efficiency Utilize advanced features of Windows 365 and SharePoint to manage document repositories, version control, and access permissions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, organize, and catalog documents related to various projects and initiatives Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of document records, resolving discrepancies as needed Provide training and support to staff members on document control processes and software applications Assist in the implementation of document management systems and tools to improve workflow automation and information retrieval Act as a liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate the exchange of documents and information Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in document management, continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.Requirements Prior experience of 2+ years in a Document Controller role Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat for document handling and processing Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites for daily administrative tasks Experience in Correspondence for effective communication within and outside the organization Proficiency in Document Control to manage and safeguard company documents Experience in using Microsoft SharePoint for document management and storage Ability to Perform Special Projects as assigned by the management Experience in conducting Detailed Review of documents for accuracy and completeness Ability to generate Detailed Reports on document control activities.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
