The candidate should be proficient in verbal and written communication and have excellent problem solving skills. Our candidate will be able to maintain professionalism and complete all duties in an otherwise fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will share our passion for patient care, high quality medicine and client experience, while being dedicated to creating and maintaining a healthy work environment. The candidate we are looking for will be open to learning new ideas, sharing their ideas with the team, and working hard to help shape a low stress/stress free experience for patients, clients, and each other.Why We Need YouAs the face of VCA Columbia Animal Hospital @ Hickory Ridge, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each client’s trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:
Greeting clients & visitors
Setting and confirming appointments
Inbound and outbound correspondence with clients via text, email, and telephone
Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
Managing electronic medical records, charts and reports
Educating clients on various topics such as our fear free culture, our products and services, general animal husbandry, and non-medical pet care (Heartworm prevention, flea & tick control, etc.)
Assisting clients with our online pharmacy and myVCA app
Hospital maintenance and minor cleaning inside and outside
Must be able to lift 40 lbs
