Local business is looking for a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team and support our administrative operations and inside sales efforts. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions and inside sales activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the administrative and inside sales team with customer inquiries, order processing, data entry, follow-up, and other activities.
- Maintaining accurate records and files, both digital and physical.
- Preparing reports and other documents as needed.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Handling general office duties such as answering phones and maintaining office supplies.
- Perform other normal office duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related fields are a plus.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience in QuickBooks and Adobe Acrobat would also be helpful.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
