Head of Communications (Corporate)

Reporting to the Director, Regulatory, Public Affairs & Communications, we are seeking a highly experienced, well organised candidate to join Nine in this newly created role as Head of Communications (Corporate). Managing a small team of external and internal communications specialists, the successful candidate will carry responsibility for protecting Nine’s reputation as well as developing and implementing strategies to successfully communicate Nine’s growth strategy. Day to day you will:Develop, embed, and champion a compelling corporate narrative for Nine, ensuring the company strategy is understood by all stakeholders.Provide senior communications counsel to the Chair, CEO, and Executive Leadership Team (ELT).Lead communications strategy and execution for major corporate announcements, Work closely with key executives and investor relations on all financial results including the Annual General Meeting (AGM).Develop and execute media and communications strategies for Nine's advocacy positions on key policy issues such as media regulation, AI and digital platforms.Lead, mentor, and develop the corporate communications team, fostering a high-performance culture.Leverage audience analytics (e.g., social engagement, sentiment analysis) to measure communication effectiveness and predict reputational risks.
