The Siemens Industry, Inc. distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking a Machine Operator – Side Channel to be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team. Ensure material flow through the line
Cover any position in the line
Understand and ensure schedule is followed as planned
Report any shortages to GL or Supervisor to prevent a stop in production
Work along with materials and other production areas to receive the right mix of material based on the schedule
Support GL and Supervisor with cross training activities
Act as backup for Group Leader as needed
Realize 5S audits and propose corrective actions to GL/Sup
Co-lead the CIP activities/projects
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3yrs of manufacturing experience
Basic computer skills
SAP knowledge for confirmations and to look up materials
Must be able to reach, grasp, lift 50lbs and push/pull/slide material
Must become respirator fit tested to spray powder paint
Must have 6pts or less for attendance
Must have knowledge/experience working in a paint department
Must be willing to work overtime
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Able to perform titration training for ISO compliance
SAP or DMM experience.
