Position Overview
Xplicit Technologies, LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to perform bi-weekly custodial services at a federal operations and maintenance facility in Armour, South Dakota. The cleaner will be responsible for ensuring the facility’s offices, restrooms, and common areas are kept clean, sanitary, and orderly in accordance with federal janitorial standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform bi-weekly cleanings of the 2,400 sq. ft. facility (offices, restrooms, corridors, and breakroom).
Sweep, mop, buff, and vacuum floors as needed.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including fixtures, mirrors, sinks, and toilets.
Refill restroom supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet tissue).
Empty all trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated outdoor dumpsters.
Clean interior glass, door windows, and partitions.
Report maintenance or safety issues such as leaks, light outages, or damages to the on-site government contact.
Ensure all doors are locked and lights are turned off after each service.
Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition and store them properly in the designated janitorial closet.
Requirements
Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred (commercial or government facility experience a plus).
Ability to pass a federal background check prior to start of work.
Reliable transportation to and from the facility in Armour, SD.
Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks (standing, lifting, bending).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must adhere to safety, security, and confidentiality rules of the facility.
Additional Information
Cleaning must be performed during hours (6:30 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Thu).
All cleaning supplies and materials will be provided by the company.
