Description Robert Half is seeking a diligent Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant tole will require proficiency in US GAAP, heavy intercompany accounts, and other areas of technical accounting. The focus of this position will be on accruals, month-end close activities, complex reconciliations, revenue recognition, ad hoc analysis, and audit support.Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute monthly accrual entries and end-of-month close activities.
Handle complex reconciliations
Revenue recognition
Conduct regular analysis and provide audit support.
Manage complex and high-volume intercompany accounts.
Work collaboratively in a team to handle other accounting issues as may arise.
Engage productively with auditors and manage high volume, deadline-driven environments.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong technical accounting background with proficiency in US GAAP.
Prior experience in large organizations, preferably within publicly traded companies.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
A minimum of five years of experience in technical accounting
Familiarity with financial reporting and auditing software like Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle. Must be proficient in Excel.
Critical skills include the ability to handle complex accounting issues, manage high volume, and deadline-driven environments, and interact effectively with auditors.
