Description We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for our medical office client located in Franklin, Tennessee. This position will be covering for a month leave of absence. The Patient Care Coordinator will be primarily tasked with managing patient interactions, maintaining precise patient records, and handling various administrative tasks. Responsibilities: Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering phones. Handle an average of 25-30 calls daily, providing information and scheduling appointments with patients. Utilize various software such as Cerner Technologies, Epic Software, Amplify, E-clinical works, NexGen and MS Suite including Outlook and MS Teams for managing patient appointments and other tasks. Perform receptionist duties, including scanning and filing documents. Work closely with care provider(s), ensuring smooth operations and efficient patient care. Address inbound calls, providing necessary information and resolving inquiries. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Monitor patient accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.Requirements Proficiency in using patient scheduling software A+. Ability to answer and effectively handle inbound calls Experience in performing receptionist duties Capable of scheduling and managing patient appointments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Prior experience in a healthcare or medical devices setting A+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite High school diploma or equivalent required, higher education preferred Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.Must be able to work onsite 8:30-5:00 M-Friday.
