Command Center Officer

The Command Center Security Officers act as an instrument of Corporate Security in the execution of Security, Safety and Company policies.  This is accomplished through an impartial and consistently cooperative effort on behalf of uniformed employees and security management.As a Command Center Officer, you will:Monitor CCTV and access control systems across Westgate Smoky Mountain Property and other regional properties  Act as the communication lead and point of contact between response personnel and Senior LeadershipProvide accurate information during critical and non-critical emergency events from report to resolutionProvide constant informational updates wherever applicable to ensure situation, events, incidents are resolved in an appropriate mannerUpdate and maintain accurate attendance, communication, and reporting logsAssist in researching past incidents and helping compile requested footage.Provide situational awareness of issues occurring throughout all locations by monitoring systems, news media reporting and establish inter-group communication with other support elementsUtilize geographic information systems to ascertain potential risk and incidents that occur in the vicinity of the company’s assetsProvide the initial or secondary response to all incidents involving police, fire department and medical personnelMaintain a uniformed security presence at specified company interestsManage entry and exit control points at designated propertiesConduct safety inspections as directed by policy and established procedureMaintain individual Security activity records, checklists and logsWrite detailed and accurate incident reports using computer software and emailsRespond to basic service requests and perform preventative maintenance on the electronic guest room security system and in-room electronic safes if applicablePerform lost and found inventory control tasksPerform traffic control and parking enforcement duties as requiredRespond to any security-related complaints and take appropriate actionsAssist Westgate Security personnel in the performance of their duties as requested and/or requiredPerform key control and accounting dutiesPerform any other task, requested by management, within the scope of corporate policyTo excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
