We are a local construction and development firm working on a development project in the Cordova area. We are seeking a reliable, experienced, semi-retired Class A CDL driver who is looking to pick up flexible hours doing steady, low-stress work.

The Position: Local CDL Driver (Day Cab)
Your primary responsibilities will be entirely local to the Cordova project site and surrounding area:
1. Operating Day Cab Truck: Primarily driving a day cab to shuttle various types of machinery (e.g., excavators, loaders) on a lowboy trailer between our local yards and the job site.
2. Dump Truck Operations: Moving soil, gravel, and construction materials via dump truck strictly within the local work zone.
3. Low Stress Routes: All driving is local, often short haul, and limited to day-time hours. We prioritize safety and flexibility over speed.
Requirements
Current and Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is mandatory.
Impeccable Driving Record: Must provide a clean driving record (MVR). Safety is our top priority.
Experience with dump truck operation is required.
Reliability: While flexible, consistent attendance when scheduled is essential.
Physical: Ability to perform standard pre-trip/post-trip inspections and safely secure loads.
