We want you to apply!Job Summary and QualificationsHCA ITG Consulting Automation Analysts are innovative individuals who use creativity and stakeholder partnerships to deliver business value. Consulting Automation Analysts utilize process and technical expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and resolve issues to ensure automation programs and requirements are met. Consulting Automation Analysts ensure the execution on automation efforts with enterprise interdependencies, size, visibility, and complexity levels and communicate across multiple channels including ITG and Business Operations, to define an initiative’s design and document desired solutions, develop automatons according to best practices and guidelines, and test automations to approved plans. Consulting Automation Analysts have ownership of their efforts from conception, through the deployment of their products, including turnover to the appropriate technical and user support organizations. As a recognized leader, Consulting Automation Analysts will be sought after to coach and mentor colleagues.Consulting Automation Analysts also serve as automation and process consultants to other ITG and Business Units. Major Responsibilities:
Provide process and automation consulting services to ITG and Business Units
Serve as process and program leaders in HCA’s automation community of practice
Lead automation teams in the execution of larger programs
Executes against enterprise-wide cross-functional automation initiatives
Elicit and gather requirements for automation projects by working directly with internal and external customers
Develop and maintain strong, proactive relationships with internal customers and IT teams to deliver actionable solutions
Assess and quantify potential benefits of automation for business and technical processes
Assist with building automation strategies and frameworks based on planned and prioritized automation work
Design, Develop, Execute and Maintain Automated Scripts to specifications
Identify, design, and develop creative solutions for practical automation problems during design, scripting, execution or maintenance
Write efficient, easy-to-follow documentation on automation tools, scripts, and processes
Assist with manual testing as needed to help development team meet schedule commitments
Promote, recommend, and implement improvements to automation frameworks and processes
Plan, implement and support upgrades, configuration and customization of tools and technologies utilized by the Automation COE
Mentor other team members in technical skills as well as business related areas and provide guidance on complex automation efforts
Take ownership of automation initiatives and work closely with Team Lead and/or Manager with all automation project planning activities
Stay informed of automation industry trends and best practices
Communicate value of automation to enterprise to both technical and business leadership
Works with multiple areas at HCA to ensure understanding of assigned task.

Actively owns and participates in lifecycle management of assigned applications and infrastructure.
May provide afterhours/on-call support for applications.
Has the ability resolve simple to complex production support issues.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Master's degree preferred
7+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering, Analyst or Developer required, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Ability to evaluate automation utilizing Six-Sigma principles for improvement opportunities

Ability to build relationships, communicate effectively both formally and informally, and advocate for automation across the company
Knowledge of testing best practices and skill in implementing them in SDLC

Ability to present and facilitate technical ideas while creating alignment among audience of varying disciplines
Ability to determine alignment of new technologies to HCA strategic roadmap
Ability to elicit and gather requirements for automation projects by working directly with internal/external customers
Ability to become a trusted advisor, lead projects and programs, be a catalyst for change, dive collaboration among the automation community, and be a thought leader at HCA
Ability to create project plans, understand dependencies, and drive towards identified milestones
Knowledge of automation landscape, current and future industry offerings, and internal HCA capabilities
Understanding of the HCA technical landscape
Skill in using scripts to execute processes
Skill in utilizing GitHub repositories as code repositories and version control
Extensive depth of knowledge in one or more automation domains
Knowledge of how contracting is handled
