Controls EngineerJob Description | Apply to this post or Call/Text (859) 608-9913 for more detailsThe majority of this role will center around commissioning and FAT Testing of new pilot automation happening in various facilities. This position requires frequent travel to other facilities, so the home base can be located anywhere.Responsibilities: Work independently with internal and external engineering teams to successfully deliver high-quality cross-functional projects (e.g., on-time, on-budget, maintainable, low-defects, etc.). Partner with project managers and external vendors to set project priorities, establish milestones, and drive schedules to meet deadlines. Influence technical documentation content, perform documentation reviews, and dive deep into system layouts and solutions. Competently represent system and/or equipment designs to both customers and other teams. Communicate project status, effectively answer project questions in detail, and regularly produce clear and concise summaries for the projects you own to your leadership/management team. Develop good working relationships with vendors, engineers, managers, and peers. Work with internal teams to develop quality and performance test plans that enable vendors to demonstrate the quality of their systems. Build strong working relationships with leadership and their operations teams across multiple sites as well as their Launch, Facilities, Finance, Safety, Process Engineers, and other business stakeholders. Identify and lead process improvement initiatives in support of operations teams within a geographic node.Hard Skills
