Job Responsibilities
Gathering, analyzing and presenting information on relevant markets to business development staff and managers.
Providing administrative support in marketing projects; tracking and preparing reports on marketing and sales data, focusing on key initiative dates and deadlines.
Answering routine inquiries and supplying marketing information as requested by customers and management.
Assisting in the creation and distribution of communication vehicles for customers and staff.
Job QualificationsEducation
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment
Experience
3 years - Experience in the Health Insurance Industry
SkillsCertifications
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Demonstrated knowledge of contracts, products, networks, underwriting, billing, claims processing procedures and use of a broker distribution system.
Excellent database development and management skills (Access, Excel, etc.)
