Description We are offering a short-term 8 week contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented claims analyst, located in Nashville, Tennessee. This role will involve processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. You will also be responsible for monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Maintain accurate customer credit records Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally Monitor customer credit accounts regularly for any discrepancies Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments Utilize Accurint, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), EHR SYSTEM, and NextGen. Handle appeals, billing functions, and claim administration effectively Follow collection processes, work on insurance claims, and handle claim denials Work on insurance denials and utilize IBM AS/400 for various tasks Perform other duties as assigned related to the role of a Credit Clerk within the Medical Billing/Claims/Collections sector.Requirements Minimum of five years experience in Medical Billing/Claims/Collections. Proficient in using Accurint software for data analysis and decision making. Familiarity with Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) for interprocess communication. Experience in using EHR SYSTEM for maintaining health information. Proficiency in Epic Software for healthcare management. Knowledge of IBM AS/400 system operations and applications. Ability to handle Appeals and Insurance Denials effectively. Experience in Billing Functions and Claim Administration. Proficiency in Collection Processes and handling Collector responsibilities. Experience in managing Insurance Claims and Claim Denials. Understanding of Denials management in healthcare settings.
