Transportation/Logistics Optimization Specialist

Job DescriptionAn employer in the Nashville area is looking for an individual to support optimization efforts for the transportation department. Will partner and support distribution centers, retail stores, vendors and transportation group with improvement activities. Will find inefficiencies in the data by using formulas to mind and identify trends, will then use that information to tell a story and provide insight into how the company can improve to be more efficient. After identifying the problem, they will present solutions to stakeholders and then will deploy to the location to fix the problem. Will travel to the manufacturing plants/distribution centers 1 week/month -meeting with local site leadership, providing them with data findings, and making the change to ensure they are improving various KPIs that maximize service and costs.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
