Manager Revenue Cycle PerformanceUnder general direction of the THPG Revenue Integrity Director, the Revenue Cycle Performance Manager is responsible for managing all daily administrative and technical operations for the Revenue Cycle Performance Lead team. All responsibilities are performed in accordance with established organizational policies, procedures and compliance and quality standards.Job DutiesPersonnel Management Duties:

Manages all essential Revenue Cycle Performance Team functions.

Effectively recruits, leads and develops a team of employees including training and monitoring performance standards.

Provides continuous coaching, mentoring and development to staff.

Monitors KPIs to ensure metrics are met and appropriately defined to evaluate performance of staff.

Process Monitoring and Improvement:

Implements and manages performance goals and objectives as well as long-term performance planning.

Ensures goals, metric benchmarks, and quality standards are consistently met by all team members.

Consistently organizes, evaluates and executes on strategies to improve team performance metrics.

Regularly reports out to RI director and other operational leaders as necessary regarding service line metric performance, risk, achievements, and resolution strategies.

Applies a comprehensive knowledge of current and evolving best practices and industry trends.

Operational Management Duties:

Attends and engages in all applicable meetings, committees, and work groups to communicate Revenue Cycle Performance Team updates and resolve process issues.

Acts as liaison between Revenue Cycle Performance Team and key department stakeholders including Central Billing Office, Operations, vendors and executive leadership.

Facilitates cross-functional collaboration across the revenue cycle at the system level.

Meetings and Education:Mandatory attendance to webinars, classes, lectures, internal meetings, etc. to maintain current knowledgeregarding CMS reimbursement, commercial payer contracts, THR charging policies and changes that impactrevenue, such as CPT and coding changes. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.EducationBachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare related field preferred, Or, Associate's Degree in Business or Healthcare related field requiredExperience4 years relevant clinical/finance experience with Bachelor's degree required, Or, 6 years relevant clinical/finance experience with Associate's degree required3 years progressive management experience in clinical/finance requiredSkillsProficient computer and EMR skills, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office suite applications such as Word and Excel.Demonstrated business and analytic/financial skills.Strong communication and organizational skills.Strong people management and development skills.Ability to shape communications to the needs of the audience.Knowledgeable of HIPAA, state and federal regulations governing confidentiality, release of information and record retention.Familiar with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) functionality, document imaging, and workflow.
