Electrical TechnicianJob DescriptionAs an Instrument / Electrical Technician (IET), you will join the Subsea Robotics (SSR) team to perform electronic assembly startup, calibration, functional, and safety testing on electrical and electronic systems for subsea vehicles, as well as support and test equipment. You will build, install, and test electrical components, ensuring they are calibrated and troubleshoot any issues. Responsibilities include cabinet wiring, cable creation, installing and troubleshooting various electromechanical assemblies. Some travel will be required for subsea operations and field repair, anticipated to be less than 20% of the time.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a permanent position.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas.Work EnvironmentThis is a Monday-Friday day shift role. You must be onsite from 9am-3pm, with some flexibility in hours. You will need to be willing to travel to the testing site in Panama City Beach once a quarter for up to 14 days. The role requires physical fitness to carry heavy items and comfort with being on boats. The work environment is climate-controlled, involves standing on feet all day, and working with a team of 3 plus additional engineers. Attire includes steel toe shoes, pants or shorts (not baggy), and plain t-shirts.
