Staff Accountant

Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant in Boerne, Texas. This role involves managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger. The position is a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records Maintain the general ledger, ensuring entries are accurate and up-to-date Conduct month-end close procedures to finalize financial records Create and maintain annual budgets Utilize SAP for financial operations Manage journal entries for financial transactions Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required Requirements Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger management, and Journal Entries Experience with Month End Close processes Familiarity with SAP software Ability to assist in the preparation of the Annual Budget Possess strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
