Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Mortgage Assistant in Coppell, Texas. Working in the mortgage industry, you will play a crucial role in handling customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts and taking necessary actions.Responsibilities: Process credit applications from customers accurately and efficiently Keep accurate records of customer credit Analyze and review customer loan applications Evaluate customer credit profiles and reports Examine customer's debt and assets Evaluate customer's income and financial statements Determine loan values and loan-to-value ratios Conduct appraisals and analyze collateral and supporting documentation Identify deficiencies in loans and calculate risk grades Use computer programs to ensure compliance with FHA, Non-QM, FNMA, and FHLMC policies and guidelines Identify potential fraud and escalate cases to the Fraud Investigations Unit when necessary Use strong interpersonal and communication skills to resolve customer inquiries. Requirements Proficiency in various computer programs relevant to the mortgage industry Ability to conduct and understand appraisals Familiarity with closing processes in mortgage transactions Experience in commercial lending practices Knowledge of compliance regulations in the mortgage industry Ability to assess creditworthiness of clients Experience with FHA Underwriting Proficiency in mortgage underwriting processes Experience with QC - Quality Control in mortgage transactions Understanding of FHLMC regulations and guidelines Ability to analyze financial statements effectively Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
