Hiring Paint Prep Technician in South Dallas!Job Description
The essence of the Paint Prep Technician’s role is to prepare all pieces and products for paint while maintaining a high-quality standard.
Responsibilities include assisting the Lead Painter in preparing products for paint, performing light bodywork, sanding, blocking, filing, and priming.
The technician will place products for painting on movable platforms, move and stage painted products in the drying room, oversee paint and prep material inventory, keep the work area clean and organized, and communicate ideas and issues in a timely manner to ensure high quality standards.
Shift: Monday - Friday 6AM-3:30PMPay: $18.50-$19.50 depending on experience.Requirements
Preferred prior paint prep experience and/or painting experience
Metal paint prep experience - PLUS!
Must be able to provide copy of diploma or high school equivalent
Must be able to commute to South Dallas
Must have own reliable transportation
Must have valid drivers license

This is a fully on-site position in South Dallas, Texas.
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment in the metal industry.
Work with 80 other employees.
Steel toe boots and safety glasses required.
